These photos, taken over two seasons in Spring, of the coastal city in the southern tip of South Korea is a wonderful reminder of the rhythm of the city as the seasons pace themselves through the year. Busan is neither metropolis nor a village, and its roots as a seaport is revealed by the dotted containers ports interposed with the skyscrapers throughout the busy coast as the natural lie of the land rises high above the beach-heads. While the coastal resorts brace themselves against the seafront, the traditional Korean beef barbecue, bath-houses, and eel restaurants ply their trades.
