Day 1: Journey from Haneda to Lake Kawaguchiko, taking in the Mt Kachi Kachi Ropeway & the walking the budding hydrangea trail down to the lake.
Day 2: Fuji Shibazakura Festival by Lake Motosu & the Fugaku Wind Caves

Day 3: Driving the Fuji skyline to Mizugazuka Park and onward to the 5th station of of Mt Fuji.
The sparsely-traversed Fujinomiya trail takes in a quiet climb to the 6th station, or a trek to Mt Hoei , and watching tough snow boarders and skiers carry their load back down from the snow slopes above the 7th Station.
Lakeside Oishi Park offers grand sights of Mt Fuji as dusk beckons the Lakeside town.
Day 4: Travel to the 5th Station of Mt Fuji on the Subaru line and taking in the Okuniwa trail with excellent views of Mt Fuji, before leaving the Fujikawakguchiko area for Lake Ashinoko, Hakone.
Day 5: Hakone area, visiting the Wetland Botanics Garden, Sengokuhara Grasslands and the Hakone Open Air Museum.

Day 6: South via the Askinoko Skyline and the Ize Peninsula Mountain Ridge Skyline toll-roads to Mt Omuro and Cape Jogasaki.
Day 7: A final morning stop-over at Owakudani, the source and furnace of hotsprings in Hakone, with a brand new crater formed in 2016 before heading back to Shinjuku and the big city!
